About:

Lynette Dufton (formerly Lynette Pullmann), Ph.D., is a Washington-licensed psychologist with a background in clinical psychology, psychological assessment, child and family mental health, research, and professional training. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Dufton spent eight years in private practice in Seattle, where she provided psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in individual and group settings and conducted psychological, diagnostic, and cognitive and achievement evaluations. During this period, she also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, where she supervised graduate students in clinical psychology.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Dufton worked in clinical and research roles at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, providing behavioral health services and developing and implementing training programs related to the screening and management of childhood behavioral health conditions. Her research experience also includes serving as principal investigator of the “Psychobiological Processes in Pediatric Pain and Anxiety” study at the National Institute of Mental Health.

Dr. Dufton completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital and a predoctoral internship at British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada.

Her current professional work focuses on forensic psychological evaluation and consultation.
